How to reach us
Checking which support channels are open…
Before you write, include these three things
- The order ID. It is the short code in the tracking link you were given, and it is the fastest way for us to find your deck.
- The presentation topic. It confirms which deck you mean when several orders came in on the same day.
- The email you used on the order. That is the address the download link was sent to, so it also tells us whether delivery itself failed.
What we can fix
- A generation that failed halfway or has been stuck on the same step for far longer than it should.
- A download link that returns an error, or one that has expired before you saved the file.
- Student details printed wrongly or missing on the title slide — a mistyped roll number, the wrong course, a college name that did not render.
- A deck that came out badly formatted: overlapping text, an image that did not load, or a slide layout that is not the one you chose.
- Accessibility of your own data — see the privacy policy for what we can remove and how.
What we cannot do
- Write, rewrite or complete your assignment for you. SlideForge drafts a presentation from the topic you give it; the thinking and the final submission stay yours.
- Guarantee a grade, or promise that a deck will pass a particular rubric. Marks depend on your work, your evaluator and your institution.
- Verify facts, statistics or citations for you. AI can be confidently wrong, so check every figure and source yourself before you present.
- Recover a deck for an order placed with an email address or order ID you cannot confirm, because that is someone else's data.
How quickly we reply
Support is run by a small team, so there is no 24-hour desk. Most messages that arrive on a working day get an answer within a day, and almost everything is answered within two. Bug reports that include an order ID and what you expected to happen usually get fixed fastest. If a download expires while you are waiting, tell us and we will regenerate the link rather than leaving you stuck.
Questions you can answer without writing in
A lot of what students ask about is already documented. The FAQ on the home page covers pricing, what you get in the download, editing the outline, and how the free tools work. The about page explains how a deck is built, and the privacy policy answers questions about your data. If your question is about a specific slide, the outline generator and the citation checker are often quicker than waiting for a reply.
Bugs and feature ideas
Both are welcome, and both get read by a person. When you report a bug, say what you did, what you expected and what actually happened — a screenshot of the tracking page helps more than a long description. When you suggest a feature, tell us the situation you were in, not just the button you want; that is what tells us whether it is worth building. Tool ideas for the free-tools section are especially useful, because students use those far more often than we can guess at.
